On Monday Pine Class joined Oak for a day of animal themed learning. We had a visit from Wild Encounters and learnt about a wide range of carnivores, herbivores and omnivores by meeting some fascinating animals. Then we used our scientific skills to work out which animal did which poo! Thinking about the size, shape and what was in the poo to guess the animal. #wildlife #wildanimals #WildEncounters #animals #school #schoollife #learning #education

Nature Explorers are spending this half term finding out about Fauna. The children will discover what Fauna is, what Fauna can be found on our site, design and make bug homes, discover about types of birds and various other activities. Today the children discussed about different types of Fauna - animals, birds, and insects. They looked at different bug homes and designed their own. We also used some Flora to make some Remembrance Poppies.

This weeks film club is Two by Two, Ooops... the Ark has Gone

Today our KS 2 pupils attended the remembrance service at the village war memorial. Pupils laid a wreath of remembrance from the school and read remembrance poems which they had written. Attendees from the village remarked on the children's respectful behaviour.
